When the power goes out, darkness will fall, and it won’t be all twinkle-lights and fireflies; just ask Texas, Florida or New Orleans. Even worse, look at Puerto Rico and what happened there after a natural disaster that turned out the lights.
Without power, everything goes dark: gas stations, grocery stores, water plants, and emergency services. If trucks can’t get gas, then food and supply lines shut down. Thousands go hungry, and everyone is desperately thirsty. Unless you’re prepared.
But most people are not prepared, and chaos will ensue. Mayhem will begin. Predators will creep out of the darkness.
I write fictional stories about real things that happen. Sign up below to my Shit (hit the fan) List for one monthly heads-up to let you know when each new book of the SHTF series is out.
